Deceive Inc. Gets New Agent and Private Lobbies in Season 3

Deceive Inc. has been one of my favorite multiplayer games on the Steam Deck, and I am ready to hop back in! The game received a new update this morning to bring in Season 3 and a new update, Of Kings and Queens, bringing in a new catalog for its battle pass and a new agent, Octo!

Octo is a super-hacker you can unlock with season 3's battle pass system. He can creatively weaponize intel for the alternative fire on his weapons, as well as the ability to seek and spend large quantities with his weapons to gain some big bonuses for his passive abilities. There is also a new map, Operation Sound Eclipse, new store items available, and quality of life improvements. There was also a Steam Deck-specific fix for Sasori's video reel in the select screen not fully playing.

Due to popular demand, private lobbies have also been integrated into the game! This will allow you to have private matches with your group of friends. This is great if you want to play with a larger group and not worry about accidentally playing with random people online.
