Constance's First Patch Fixes Videos On The Steam Deck

Constance is a game I’ve been excited about for a long time, and it’s available this week. It’s a gorgeous metroidvania, and despite a couple of launch teething issues, it is shaping up to be a solid addition to the genre. The first post launch patch is out now, fixing a multitude of little issues and adding some nice improvements.

Black screens when starting a new save file on new devices have been fixed, as well as an important Steam Deck fix that caused some videos to not play properly. Constance’s first patch also brings various bugfixes, spelling errors, a softlock unbrick for Lord Koba, and disabled code stripping for the modding support.

Constance is $19.99 on Steam, with a 10% discount until December 1.
