Cleared Hot Will Get Native Steam Deck Build With Next Update

Cleared Hot is one of my go-to games for some good-natured destruction, featuring an awesome arcade helicopter experience. It launched last year to an overwhelmingly positive reception so far, and the long-awaited Chapter 1b update has a release date. It releases on March 17, and with some new content to the game, it will also come with big performance gains on the Steam Deck.

The Chapter 1b update is still in development, but new features include the second part of the story campaign, Arcade missions in the hangar for replayable challenges, and a brand new water system to go with the revamped physics for the bridge destruction missions.

Steam Deck support is another big feature of the patch, bringing a native build, optimizations to the destruction physics, a new render scale setting, and tons of bugs and fixes. While Cleared Hot is already pretty great on the Steam Deck, this is great news for us.
