Broforce Getting a New Free Update - New Bros, Enemies, and Levels Coming

Grab your bros and get ready for the encore update to one of the most bro-tacular games to exist! Broforce, from Free Lives and Devolver Digital, is getting a new free update soon that will bring in a good chunk of new content!

With this new update, which comes out on August 8th, we can enjoy 6 new bros joining the game including Broffy the Vampire Slayer, Demolition Bro, Desperabro, and Seth Brondle! We will also encounter new enemies all around the world, including in the Muscle Temples, which are brand new challenge levels being added to the game.

Broforce is a pixelated explosion-packed side-scrolling run and gun game that puts you in control of over-powered bros based off of legendary fighters. These can include Rambo, Judge Dredd, and even The Terminator. While you will be going through and slaughtering your enemies, the world itself is fully destructible too, so make sure to use it to your advantage. There's even a level editor, so you can try out some user-created content and the Arcade mode to keep things going after the campaign!

Broforce is on sale on Steam right now for $3 (80% off) until August 9th. The game is rated Playable on the Steam Deck due to might needing to enter text and you can't easily use the map editor on the Deck, but otherwise, the game plays extremely well and has a native Linux build!
