Asgard’s Fall, a new Norse-inspired roguelite game, has officially launched into early access after making waves at the Steam Next Fest with over 100,000 wishlists, ahead of its final release in 2026. With its outstanding demo ranking among the top 40 most played during the Next Fest, the game has already made a strong impression. Now, we have new, polished content that truly takes the game to a new level for the early access launch.

Features Coming in Asgard’s Fall

Asgard’s Fall offers 4 distinct realms of Norse mythology. Each of them has its unique mechanics, along with its own bosses and enemies. During the character creation, players can choose to be either a Warrior, Huntress, or Seer, all with their own talent trees. Unlocking the skills for your character will require skill points that you can obtain while progressing through the game and completing objectives, while also choosing from 50 powerful abilities to dominate enemies during combat. You can also utilize different runes to permanently boost your character's strength.

There are 30 Knots in the game that you can insert into the Web of Wyrd to create a distinct run, along with 12 different difficulty modifiers that give you an immersive experience through the Blood Sacrifice system. This is a fast-paced game where you must act, run, and fight faster. Use the powerful abilities to deal with a cluster of enemies, letting the gods know your wrath.

Asgard's Fall is on sale for $6.29 until April 23rd to celebrate its launch! And, with controller support and solid system requirements, it should be a joy to play on the Steam Deck.
