Ages of Conflict Gets New Steam Deck Controller Layout and Virtual Keyboard Support

I love games like Ages of Conflict. I find it so interesting to set up scenarios and watch how they play out, especially when it comes to fighting or wars. This game is a World War simulator, meaning you can set up the countries in the world or make your own map and see how they play out. With the newest update, we will be able to more easily do so on the Steam Deck, and I can't wait to try it out.

In the new 3.4.1 update for the game, we now have a brand new official controller layout for the game, as well as the virtual keyboard popping up automatically whenever you need to enter text in. This makes it so much nicer to control, and ultimately play, the game! It will also default to 1280x800 resolution, which I do appreciate.

On top of that, we can now see a dropdown menu to show certain nation names depending on their size and a good chunk of bug fixes. The Unity version has been updated, opacity of big nation names won't flicker anymore, and small nation names will update their location again when large nation names are on. There were also some minor fixes for city names and some tooltips.

Ages of Conflict: World War Simulator is available on Steam for $6.99 and is rated Playable due to showing incorrect controller icons, small in-game text, needing to manually bring up virtual keyboard, and needing to manually set the display resolution. Luckily, with this update, the final two issues should now be fixed.
