There are Now 15,000 Steam Deck Verified/Playable Games on Steam!

There are over 100,000 games on Steam right now, which means picking and choosing which to play on the Steam Deck can be hard. You aren't sure which games can be played, which ones are optimal, or which ones just flat out don't work. That's where the Steam Deck Verified/Playable system comes in. Valve takes games and tests them to see which ones work and which don't against their set criteria. The system isn't perfect, and some games are incorrectly labeled, but it's a monumental task. And today, we officially have 15,000 games that have been Steam Deck Verified or Playable, which is something to celebrate!

Confirmed over on SteamDB, we did an instant search to see how many full games had the Verified and Playable badge. And it turns out, we have exactly 15,000, which is pretty cool to see:

As I mentioned, the system isn't perfect, and it does miss some games by a large margin. I have seen Unsupported games working extremely well, while some Steam Deck Verified games have game breaking or graphical issues that make it extremely hard to play. I would do some extra research into the games you get from Steam, like checking on our website for a review or ProtonDB, or you can ask us directly on X or Discord, but it's still noteworthy.
