No More Room in Hell 2 is recovering nicely from that rough launch. Today, Torn Banner Studios released the chunky Infection update for the game!

This brand-new update includes some nice features, including adding the main components of the game’s zombie Infection mechanic, a Self-sacrifice feature, private lobbies, an update to the stamina system, and various quality-of-life and bug fixes.

The infection mechanic is by far the biggest part: and now when a zombie grabs a player, they have a chance of getting infected, and players must find a cure as soon as possible. The infection advances quickly and in the beginning, the lack of HUD adds to the immersion. This should greatly increase the strategy experience for players!

There is also now a way for players to commit suicide if they wish, adding another survival element to the game. Sometimes it is better to die than to transform into a zombie and attack their allies. Torn Banner Studios has also announced that starting today, players can queue into No More Room in Hell 2 privately with as few as two players. Squad Leaders in parties of 2-8 players will notice the choice to queue into either private or public matches.

No More Room in Hell 2 is available on Steam, and it is 20% off until December 16. Will you be joining the apocalypse? Let us know in the comments!
